I bring my camera with me everywhere. I'm always on the look out for inspiration and photo opportunities. I love candid moments! I love to capture everyday life, my children's adventures , those little mannerisms and expressions.
When I started photography as a teenager, I was obsessed with street photography. I used to bring my old camera into Dublin city center, and with a telephoto lens, I'd take photographs of fleeting moments, interesting characters and gestures. I was fascinated on how it was possible to freeze a single moment, unbeknownst to passers by.
These days in my portrait photography I often try to apply similar principles. To just capture life as it is, without changing a thing, because its beautiful the way it is :-)
