I’ve been fortunate as a photographer to capture many love stories and there are some that I will always remember, where every little detail seems like a dream!
I am still buzzing after a recent wedding, at the Trim Castle Hotel, the energy was epic!
Trim is known for its history, with it's beautiful castle standing tall as a backdrop.
It’s the perfect location for a wedding that embraces both elegance and a laid-back, free-spirited vibe—just like this couple’s beautiful celebration.
Wedding Photography at Trim Castle is a dream!
One of my favorite moments was when I captured the couple’s photo shoot, when myself and the bride climbed over a fence into a field of donkeys. The donkeys decided it would be a good idea to try to eat the brides bouquet, she threw it to the groom and we quickly escaped hahah . They were such a cool and unique addition to the photographs, adding charm that matched the bohemian aesthetic perfectly.
The bride was STUNNNNNING & every photo felt effortless because she radiated pure joy, and the castle grounds provided a backdrop that was nothing short of cinematic. Braveheart, eat your heart out!
Just when everyone thought the day couldn’t get any better, the couple surprised their guests during dinner with a performance by opera singers. It was incredible to watch as the music filled the room and brought everyone to their feet, creating a moment of pure magic. You could see the joy on the guests' faces as they sang along, hands raised in celebration.
The reception was a blast, with an epic dance floor that kept everyone moving all night long. The couple even pulled out a huge cutout of their beloved pet cat, Crooks, which became a hilarious and heartwarming focal point. Guests were posing with it, dancing around it, and it was one of those quirky personal touches that made the day feel so uniquely theirs.
Looking back at the photos, I’m reminded of how powerful and joyful these moments were. As a photographer, it’s a privilege to capture these memories, but it’s even more special when you’re part of a celebration that feels so true to who the couple is. This wedding at Trim Castle Hotel will definitely stay with me for a long time, not just because of the beautiful images but because of the love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that filled the day.
I can’t wait to return to Trim for more weddings, but this one will always have a special place in my heart.
