Ah, *where* do I even start with this one?
B & C’s wedding was one of those magical days that just *felt* right from the very beginning. They got ready together in the gorgeous Clayton Hotel in Ballsbridge, and it was super chill — just the two of them hanging out, laughing, sipping champagne and soaking it all in before the groomsmen rocked up. No fuss, no stress — just pure calm and connection. My kind of morning.
The ceremony took place in the cosy, romantic ceremony room at **Marco Pierre White Courtyard & Grill**, and honestly, this venue is such a gem. Nestled in the heart of Ballsbridge, it’s got this beautiful, intimate vibe with lush greenery and gorgeous lighting that makes everything look and feel like a scene from a movie.
The ceremony itself? An absolute joy. Full of love, packed with laughter, and just the right amount of happy tears. It was heartfelt and so *them* — nothing staged, nothing performative. Just two people in love, promising forever in front of their nearest and dearest.
Now, if you know me, you’ll know I’m all about letting couples *live* their day. B & C wanted to be present, to laugh, to chat, to hug every guest — not to spend hours on posed photos. So we did a super quick five-minute couple shoot, turbo-timed the formal photos, and that was that. The rest of the day? Pure documentary style. Me, hanging out with the guests, enjoying the craic and capturing all the good stuff as it happened. And let me tell you, *those* are the photos that really hit — the real moments.
There was *so* much laughter. Hugs flying everywhere. Kids running wild. Adults absolutely owning the dance floor. No cake, no grand entrance, no first dance — their day, their way - and it was honestly perfect.
The speeches? Had me laughing my head off. Their friends and family were the absolute salt of the earth — kind, hilarious, and totally up for the craic. The dance floor was buzzing, and the energy was electric right ‘til the end.
To B & C — thank you for trusting me to capture your day. I wish you both a lifetime of belly laughs & stolen kisses & joy. It was a total honour.
